How to Participate
All participants must be affiliated with a school or research facility and require a site coordinator. Review the eligibility policy for full participation requirements.
3 Steps for School Enrollment

Complete the Registration Form
Fill out the Site Coordinator Google Registration Form. Available starting mid-August.

Set Up Your Registration Account
Wait for a system email with your password. Log into the registration portal and enter your institution information. Available mid-August through mid-January.

Submit Enrollment Fee or Waiver
Download the School Enrollment Fee / Waiver Form and submit it with payment.
Site Coordinator Responsibilities
Site coordinators must be adults designated by school administrators or lab researchers at sponsoring institutions. They oversee student participation and ensure compliance with fair requirements. See the Site Coordinator 101 guide for full details.
Fall Responsibilities
- check_circle Complete Site Coordinator 101 training
- check_circle Have students submit the Intent to Participate form (one per project)
- check_circle Review Rules and Regulations regarding pre-approval requirements
- check_circle Register projects needing pre-approval (maximum 30 per site)
- check_circle Oversee student research and monitor dashboard
January / February Responsibilities
- check_circle Select projects representing your site at the fair
- check_circle Guide students through online registration procedures
- check_circle Approve participating projects and students
- check_circle Verify all required information is uploaded
- check_circle Recruit fair volunteers and judges
Monitoring Your Dashboard
Track student submission status including:
- arrow_right Completed submissions
- arrow_right Items awaiting SRC verification
- arrow_right Denied proposals pending resubmission
- arrow_right Second-time denials
This oversight helps prevent projects from being rejected due to untimely revisions.
